The topic of this research is how to become a successful person and the reason for being interested in this research topic is firstly I am an individual who likes to solve problems and this topic offered me a chance to find solutions to becoming successful. Additionally this research topic enable me to establish factors that lead to an individual becoming successful and factos that lead to failure.

This research is significant as it enabled me to define and look at success and have an in depth analysis of what success entails. Additionaly this research is significant because it is informing on factors that lead to both success ad failure. Individuals who will be able to go through this research will be able to find more knowlegdeg and gain a different perspective on becoming successful.

Thesis statement
Having a plan, setting clear actionable and measurable goals and objectives and being adaptive to the changes in the environment determines whether a person becomes successful. (Ashurst, 2020)

2020 UC1150 Research Funding Competition
!
Congratulations that your research topic has been selected as the top 10 projects for the final competition to win the 1,000,000,000 smartness-dollar prize. You are invited to give a final presentation of your project on April 15, 2020
Please follow the guideline below when you give the 2nd – round presentation:
1. Your presentation should contain 5-8 PPT slides (including texts, pictures, video, etc.)
2. Your presentation should be between 5 and 8 minutes in length.
3. In your presentation, you should answer the following 5 questions:
1) What is the thesis statement of your research project?
2) Is your research report a report research paper or an argumentative research paper?
3) In the body part of the research project, how would you outline your major points/arguments?
4) What would be the potential conclusion of your research paper?
5) What recommendations would you give to the audience based on your expected results?
4. This presentation is worth 10% of the final grades for your UC1150 class!
