One of the best strengths that I value about myself as a learner is the fact that I am very
flexible and can work under tight deadlines. Learning is a dynamic process that requires
patience, tolerance and persistence, especially if one understands and accepts their grasping
level. Whether in school or out of school, learning is a process that happens every day whether
we like it or not, or rather whether we are aware of it or not. Therefore the occurrence of
impromptu learning tasks such as assignments, tests or exams is inevitable. My flexibility skills
have been confirmed by my good grades especially in most of my random tests.
At bay path university, to keep up with the learning trends and dynamics, one has to be
very smart. Being smart basically means that you strike a strategy that will work for you under
the given tight learning circumstances. The experience is almost like having a crash school
timetable- a timetable characterized by back to back learning tasks within a limited amount of
time. Therefore setting of learning goals and objectives is a strategy that has worked for me
during my stay in Bay Path University. My goals basically involve having an everyday routine,
noting down my every day’s to do tasks as well as maintain a discipline to achieve the above
stated.
My choice of career profession is psychology. I am very passionate about psychology.
The above stated is mainly because; Psychology is defined as the scientific study of the mind and
its actions or behaviors (Kalat, 2016). Although feelings and ideas are only two of the numerous
things that may be investigated via the lens of psychology, they are not the only ones. No limits
may be set for this academic field, which encompasses both the scientific and social sciences.
In psychology, which is a part of neuroscience, researchers are interested in developing a
better understanding of how the brain functions. Psychologists are social scientists who do

research on individuals and groups of people. With the help of my teachers and parents, as well
as my determination, I am confident to achieve the above stated.

Work-Life Balance Argumentative Essay
Work-life balance is a critical issue for both individuals and businesses. Work-life
balance is an essential component of any workplace atmosphere. Employees are more eager to
execute their jobs since they are not overworked, which is one of its benefits. Both the firms and
the employees benefit from this. Although work-life balance is achievable, people’s perceptions
of actual balance are preventing them from reaching it.
It’s vital to remember that the key to achieving true harmony is your capacity to accept
that there will always be a flow, which will need sacrificing certain aspects of your life at
varying periods (Fleur, n.d.). Some people try to separate their job and personal lives. However,
this is not always achievable, which is why many believe work-life balance is impossible. With
present technology, it may be impossible to leave the office, but you can’t leave work behind.
You can still retrieve your emails via your smartphone you can access your files from anywhere.
To be productive at work, you must keep track of and manage your time (Vanderkam,
2016). Once you’ve completed your to-do list, set aside adequate time to complete each task.
Stick to your timetable and time limits, and to improve your mood, write a good comment for
yourself next to each activity you do inside the allotted time. You may be required to attend
appointments that are not crucial, so review your calendar and look for options, such as skipping
or shortening for unimportant appointments. Some may believe that it is all about the number of
hours worked—the less, the better. True balance, on the other hand, should consider not only
how many hours you work, but also your family’s concerns, wellness demands, emotional
regulation, workload, and professional aspirations.

Finally, actual equilibrium varies from person to person. What works for someone else
may or may not work for you (Fleur, n.d.). Most folks who believe that work-life balance is
impossible to achieve do so because they compare themselves to others and fail to recognize
their own requirements and how to meet them. A promotion, for illustration, is not the best
decision for everyone. It may work for you because you have additional time, but it will not
work for a woman with three children to find. Her priorities are to strike a balance between her
work and her children, rather than to overburden herself with errands. True balance can be found
when you focus on what is best for you rather than what is best for others.
In conclusion, work-life balance has become a prevalent concern in the workplace in a
world packed with competing duties and obligations. To achieve this balance you have to accept
that there will be cases when you can’t separate between your work and life but you can still
customize these cases to suit you better. Time management is a priority in everyone’s life. Your
own requirements are your first priority.
