Prompt:
Pyramind building was introduced into Egypt by bearers of a foreign, non-Egyptian culture. What should the archaeological record in Egypt look like if this hypothesis is an accurate description of Egyptian history? What does the archaeological record actually show regarding the history of pyramid construction in Egypt? What would it take to convince you that a foreign culture influenced the Pyramid building and why2020 Frauds, Myths, and Mysteries: Science and Pseudoscience in Archaeology, Tenth Edition. The archaeological record of Egypt is the following hypothesis presented is accurate should be that Egypt was able to build the pyramids thanks to help from an outside culture which influenced their thoughts and ideas to do pyramid building. However despite this I still believe that the Egyptians within their archaeological records if true should take a majority of the credit and influence for pyramid building. The physical evidence should go to show that Egyptians were introduced and influenced by outside culture in Pyramid building however, they were the culture to go through and build such large and amazing monuments. A majority of the archaeological record of Egypt when it comes to pyramid building is mostly uncertainty and mysteries. It is seen as one of the most impressive feats of ancient history with how amazing and massive the pyramids are and how many are still standing after all of these years today. The main reason why it is a mystery is because many archaeologists do not know how such massive well built structures were created so long ago when their technology was not even close to how advanced it is today. When looking how its archaeological record is perceived Egypt is seen as the people who created pyramids without the outside help of other cultures and it was the Egypt themselves who got the idea about, and worked on building the pyramids. In order for me to believe the theory that an outside culture introduced the concept of pyramid building to the Egyptians, I would need proof of another culture or area that had built similar periods before the ones in Egypt were built. This is because I find it hard to believe that an outside culture that had no proof of building pyramids before influenced Egypt on the construction of pyramids
