There are a variety of resources and information regarding data management in health care that can be found using any search engine (Google, Yahoo, Bing). Conduct a web search and find information regarding physician bylaws and create a summary paper to discuss how documentation requirements were discussed (if at all) and how that applies to good data management principles. The paper should be 1-2 pages in length.
Some sample searches include the following:

· Hospital bylaws
· Data quality
· Information governance
· Standard development organization
Considerations:
· What documentation standard regulations are not being met? Who governs those standards? CMS, Joint Commission, State Law, etc.
· What could be done to improve the ByLaws?
· Is there anything that could be clarified to make the requirements more clear for an HIM professional to enforce?
