Define scope and scope management plan
The management plan develops the scope of this online booking system, which collects requirements of both customer as well as project stakeholders. They are eliminated the conflicting requirements, track agreed scope to be delivered and verify the agreed project related deliverables. The plan is included of processes to prepare detailed scope statement.
In-scope:
- Provide platform for customers to manage ticket bookings.
- The customers can reserve online tickets and do payments throughout secured gateways.
- Launch of web application
- Online view of the information
- Email reminders for the customers
- Allow rescheduling of tickets
- System testing
- Complete plan within 3 months
- Requirements documents are collected and recorded
- Testing review and project specifications
Out-scope:
- Unable to cancel of tickets information online
- Reminder of reservation schedules to the customers
Assumptions are:
- Proper follow of the design of online booking system.
- There are proper client/server architecture, hardware, software and network.
- The new system should provide of real time information and future returns.
Constraints are:
- The project is completed within 3 months.
- The project plan should meet its budget of AUD $100,000.
