Society will function more smoothly if society improves its education and focuses on training employers,
corporations, coworkers, instructors, and families on how to better understand and aid those individuals.
Professors and teachers should be taught to offer students with mental disorders more time or a day or
two off for mental health days, just as businesses and supervisors should give their employees who are
having difficult days those days off to rehabilitate. The most suited and most suitable sociological
approach for this topic is Symbolic Interactionist Theory. The Conflict Perspective and the Functionalist
Perspective are more concerned with society as a whole and the difficulties that it faces. Those
viewpoints concentrate on the causes of society’s functioning and how one level of society influences the
next. Individuals and their interactions with society are the emphasis of Symbolic Interactionist Theory. It’s
all about how you connect with others and how they react to you. Having a negative misconception about
mental health may drive individuals who suffer from it to spiral and become worse than they were before.
