As a nurse, ensuring evidence-based practice is met is crucial for yourself as well as the patients being cared for. As a new nurse, to ensure I have met appropriate up-to-date evidence based practice, I will collaborate with my peers, managers, and supervisors, review up to date research studies for always changing curriculum inside of nursing such as skills and tequnique performed, continuing education yearly within the company to refresh knowledge, staying in the CDC guidelines for information such as during COVID-19, staying in trend with the current research with vaccine/medication regulation information and more. This ensures improvement in quality care, improves faster patient outcomes, minimizes avoidable errors, and maximizes safety while at the place of employment (Qualmin, 2021). Evidence based practice allows room for nurses and medical professionals always improving.
