Throughout the course, you have gained a greater understanding about the origins, scope, tactics, and activities of these criminal organizations as well as prevention and intervention strategies to combat them. Now you revisit your initial entry based on what you have learned.

I HAVE ADDED SOME READING MATERIAL TO THIS ASSIGNMENT TO HELP YOU PUT THE PAPER TOGETHER. AND I ALSO ADDED A SAMPLE PAPER FOR YOU TO LOOK OVER TO HELP YOU PUT THE PAPER TOGETHER MAKE SURE YOU PROOFREAD YOUR WORK FOR ANY MISSTAKES AND REFERENCE YOUR WORK AND MAKE SURE IT’S FREE OF ALL PLAGARIZM. ALSO, THIS PAPER GRADE IS ALSO IMPOINTANT DUE TO IT BEING THE LAST ASSIGNMENT FOR THIS CLASS AND IF YOU SHOULD HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT THANKS

Final Reflection
Journal Week Six
August 22, 2021
Throughout the last six weeks of this course, I have remembered more gang-related situations
that have directly impacted my life, even if only minimally. The incident that I mission in week
one’s journal however affects me to this day. My friend from high school was brutally raped and
murdered over drug money owed by two gang members and one of their girlfriends from the
East St. Louis area. The gang East Side is who transports, buys, and sells the crack cocaine that
Nina had bought and owed $1000.00 for. This is a hard situation to have an answer to, as to what
could have been done differently. Nina was valedictorian the year we graduated, she was popular,
appeared to have a good head on her shoulders, and was going to be starting school in California
on an Art scholarship that fall. The summer after graduation Nina was introduced to cocaine at a
party and the spiraling downfall that happened to her for the next ten years is incomprehensible
to me. One major thing that may have prevented this horrible tragedy that happened to such a
bright, beautiful young girl should have been more drug awareness programs working with the
schools in the Southern Illinois area. Belleville, Illinois though close to East St. Louis, Illinois
was a very sheltered community until the mid to early 1990s. I think she was smart enough that
had she ever learned about the effects of drug use not just on individuals but on entire
communities she would have approached her decision to try cocaine completely differently.
P.S. I just wanted to say thank you John for your engagement with me and the other classmates
and for the knowledge you added to my learning experience.
Sincerely, Brandie Lynn

In America, law enforcement has been working to prevent the new criminal organization from entering the community through patrols. For example, law enforcement in Los Angeles has recently increased patrols to prevent any danger of having criminal organizations. There has been a public partnership with law enforcement to identify any suspicious group in the community. The law enforcement agency in this community should be fighting drug use and scrutinizing their behaviors. The activity will ensure that people living within the community do not intend to create criminal organizations.
The effective strategy that should be adopted to prevent the development and growth of the criminal organization in the community is gun control and increased patrols. The strategy will ensure that the residents owning guns in the community are authorized and licensed. Licensed guns can track the owners, and therefore, this will lower the chances of criminal groups’ formation (Shi & Lee, 2018). Concerning gun control, the police in the community should increase patrols to ensure any suspected criminal activity is dealt with. In these patrols, law enforcement officers should partner with the community members to report any dangers. The reporting, in this case, should be in a system for faster processing.
When a community has been exposed to criminal organizations, they will be prevented from taking root by introducing crime reporting systems and intelligence services. The increment of the crime reporting system will help the law enforcement bodywork with the community and prevent any danger of criminal organization formation. The recruitment of more service groups such as the FBI would be essential in preventing the onset of criminal organizations.

In my opinion, officers should priorities police departments because even if people just don’t understand the legislation, they will do everything they want if the cop’s just halt them, the cycle will continue till the authority can no longer maintain. Understanding the laws, for instance, can prevent you from committing the crime because an adolescent desires to disobey the laws and commit another crime, but he understands that he may face a year in imprisonment for doing so, so he refrains.
Violence prevention techniques that are very well not just to avoid victimization, but also promote to long production. Most of those 47 nations represented at the 2019 Elevated Parliamentary Conference on Environmental Sustainability commented on the criminal incident inside respective boundaries and beneficial initiatives implemented. Children and young people must be given due consideration. A growing generation with limited education and rising unemployment are threat factors driving youth to participate in delinquency and aggressive behavior. At the very same time, because of their maturity, activity level, and intellectual capacity, youths are crucial transformational leaders in building a prosperous future and have tremendous potential to fight for themselves their communities. Early preventive measures to assist kid’s and youth healthy development have indeed been found to be beneficial because they target the circumstances that lead to sociopathic behavior and criminality once they manifest.
Following will be the factors that we should do to prevent them from taking root:
Install security cameras both in and out of your house to capture and analyze any illegal behavior. Whenever you record a criminal activity on film, it might aid in the apprehending of the perpetrator.
Enhancing environmental initiatives, such as installing better lighting in inadequately lighted regions, may significantly minimize violence since low lighting neighborhoods allow thieves to function undetected.
If you store personal weapons at home, verify that you have the constitutional right to retain them. In addition, ensure that everybody in the house is adequately schooled in guns protection and also that the handgun is securely kept or deactivated\unloaded.
Furthermore, teach the children and all that how and when to resolve arguments and disputes without resorting to violence. Educate youngsters, especially, that harassment is unacceptable and that they must speak clearly no to abusers.
Terrorism in any part of society has the potential to affect everyone. Promote social norms and regulations that condemn terrorism as well as other forms of criminality
