1) Nonresistance/pacifism has been one of the core beliefs of Mennonites. Discuss at least four separate challenges to this belief in Mennonite history as well as the ways in which Mennonites responded to these challenges.
2) Describe at least four examples in which government policies/actions challenged Mennonite identity? How did Mennonites respond to these challenges? How did their responses change the Mennonite community?
3) Describe at least four different Mennonite migrations. What were the causes and consequences of these migrations? How was Mennonite identity shaped by these migrations?
