Reviewing Flight Attendants
Commercial airlines are one of the transportation industries where I am working as an HR manager within that environment. The main purpose of my job is recruiting attendants and other staff for the airlines who are eligible and capable of that position. In order to conduct recruitment for commercial airlines, the human resource manager needs to understand the actual requirements and performance of existing attendants. Even our authorities had assigned me to review the job roles of flight attendants within the workplace to improve their skills (Kamosiński, 2015).
The main purpose of flight attendants is to help their passengers to travel in a comfortable environment without having any issues. Even passenger’s safety and requirements should be a top priority for attendants which they need to complete in an effective way. In case any emergency situation has occurred at flight then attendants need to respond immediately to help the public through providing suitable equipment and services for their comfort. In order to review the attendant’s job details, I had to investigate or interview some passengers because they are experiencing services from them (Kaufman, 2013).
Besides this process, I can also conduct analysis with some automated employee review services that are implemented in the workplace based on their performance. With the help of this data, I can easily review their duties and prepare an effective schedule for better results. While using technologies for review and improving the attendant’s knowledge it helps the airlines to improve their services. But it causes some negative impact on existing attendants due to monitoring measures and improper decisions that are taking by authorities.
