Core Values
What qualities are important to you as a group? The desire to live up to these values—such as commitment, responsiveness, creativity, or integrity—should drive how you engage the assignment and the other members of your group.
Potential Obstacles
What might get in the way of your group’s success with this project or with observing the core values you list above? Consider these obstacles and then use the ground rules to help mitigate the risk
Ground Rules
List any rules that the entire group must follow and what the consequences will be if a member breaks those rules. For example, what rules are there regarding deadlines? What are the consequences for not observing them—the rules or the deadlines?
Communication Plan
When and how will you communicate? What expectations are there regarding how you will all address each other (how formally? What does it mean to communicate “respectfully”? How quickly should you anticipate a response?)
