- Explain why you are pursuing a doctoral degree.

· In what ways was I most successful in previous academic experiences? What did I struggle with the most in previous academic experiences?

· How committed am I to achieving my goals?
· How comfortable am I with learning new skills? How successful am I as an independent learner?
· How comfortable am I with asking for help with I need support?
