As you’ll remember, Lynn Curtis was terminated from SeeMoji for stealing a design from Party Planners. One action to address the problems is hiring Joe Naylor to present a workshop on copyright infringement.
Write an email to employees telling them they must attend the mandatory session on copyright laws. Express the seriousness of stealing someone else’s designs and explain that it will not be tolerated at SeeMoji.
Add a short bio of Naylor and a few points on what will be covered from Naylor’s article; cite his ideas:

Subject: Copyright Laws Meeting.
Dear All,
I assume that you are all aware of the recent incident that occurred in our company where one of our employees by the name Lynn Curtis was terminated for stealing an Emoji design from Party Planners. This was a severe copyright infringement and could have legal action taken against our company. To prevent this incident from repeating itself, SeeMoji has organized a session where all employees will be sensitized on copyright laws and the consequences of copyright infringement. The session is compulsory for all employees.
We need all the employees to take the meeting seriously because SeeMoji will not tolerate any similar incidents in the future. Stealing other people’s design is a serious offense and we do not expect it from any of our employees. The speaker for the workshop will be Joe Naylor, an expert on copyright laws. Joe Naylor is the director of ImageRights International, a company that deals with copyright issues and helps different content creators to protect their work. He will provide a deeper understanding of how copyright laws work and how you can protect yourself from any copyright wrangles. The speaker will also help the company in formulating a copyright policy that is to be followed by all employees when creating designs to ensure that the company does not have to deal with copyright infringement issues in the future. There will be clear guidelines on how employees can use published materials without going against copyright policy. To prepare for the meeting, you should all checkout Naylor’s article on the link below to familiarize yourself with his ideas.
