Discuss your reactions to the maltreatment of children with developmental disabilities. Professionals may suspect or discover abuse of a child with an intellectual or developmental disability. Reflect upon the ethical dilemmas and responsibilities of professionals who identify or suspect abuse of a child with a developmental/intellectual disability.
