Concept of Information Stories Santhosh Muthyapu New England College Date: 05/19/2020
Information storage refers to the sector of the accounting system that store data accessible to information processors. The concept of information storage is about all the
processes involved in keeping to the data accessible to an information processor (Klein, Rohlsberger, Burkel & Crisan, 2017). Once the data is entering via input devices for
example scanner, it is converted into usable form by the information processors and later stored mostly in the form of a database. The databases should be easily accessible for
analyzing the financial state of the company. The database can be stored in cloud-based storage for security and easier accessibility anywhere and anytime. Clients store
messaging information differently and this causes the difference in the retrieval of the messages. Some of the techniques create a high possibility of selective retrieval of huge
amounts of information for business or any other purpose while others create a low possibility. Some of the techniques make it easy to retrieve a document or information by title
or keywords. These techniques allow text searching that allows retrieval based on keywords (Gregory, Cousijn, Groth, Scharnhorst & Wyatt, 2018). Other database systems keep
the information in a discrete record and fields for instance in names or phone number. Therefore, during an email search, the information can only be retrieved by the basis of the
content of the record for instance if the employee has a specific phone number. Then lastly, some systems retrieve information on the bases of references instead of the
document. Therefore, that is why it is important to understand how different clients store their information to the critical success of an email search.
