Debate
Much of the country has been under some form of a “stay at home” order for several weeks. There have been calls from some to lift these orders and retain to some semblance of normal. Other leaders and health professionals have cautioned against relaxing these measures too quickly.
Georgia has become a flashpoint for this debate as the state’s governor has announced many business will be able to reopen on Friday, April 24th. Restaurants and movie theaters would be allowed to open on Monday, April 27th. This announcement has touched off a fierce debate in the state.
This debate is relevant for all of us as it will likely influence federal and state actions in the coming weeks/months. Perform your own research. Is it time to relax these stay at home orders?
