Portfolio Task – Speaker-Reflection
Pass Level Task
I. INTRODUCTION
This task requires you to review one of the following and answer two questions on the associated
reflection sheet and submit it to the lecturer following the presentation. As a Pass level task, it must
be completed by all students.
II. PURPOSE
This task allows you to reflect on what you have learnt from an Industry Speaker/Expert and to put
your reflections down on paper. You are to watch one of the following videos or read the article in the
following list:

III. ASSESSMENT
Answer the following two questions on a text document and submit them via Doubtfire.
1) Was there anything that surprised you in the presentation you watched or article you read? If
yes, what were they and why? If not, why not?
2) Has what you watched or read changed how you might think about your long term career plans?
A. I have been assessed as successfully completed
You now need to submit your answers to Doubtfire where the task will be marked as complete.
B. I have been invited for a meeting with the Lecturer
If the Lecturer deems your responses to be glib or a non-genuine reflection. You will have to
arrange an appointment with the Lecturer to address this. Following this interview you can resubmit
your completed form to Doubtfire where the task will be marked as complete.
