A work plan provides a complete picture of your research and how you plan to accomplish the tasks required to effectively research healthcare management and the delivery of health services. For your research, you are required to submit a work plan that includes the following information:
Problem statement – Describe the problem motivating the research.
Research objectives – A purpose statement that includes the scope of the research and includes any identified limitations, i.e. budget constraints.

Many women between the ages of 18 and 34 have trouble finding jeans that fit. Lee Jeans hopes to
remedy that situation with its One True Fit line. We want to demonstrate to Lee that we can create a
word-of-mouth campaign that will help it reach its target audience.
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this research is to examine ways to secure an advertising contract with Lee Jeans. In
order to learn about interest in this area, scholastic research will be utilized that specifically exams
women’s feelings about locating a good fitting pair of jeans. It is the hope that the findings in previous
research will persuade Lee Jeans that advertising is an effective strategy to address the concerns of
women finding a good pair of fitting jeans. This research is significant because an advertising contract
with Lee Jeans could open additional venues for research.
Research Strategy (Sources and Methods of Data Collection)
We will gather information about Lee Jeans and the product line by examining published marketing data.
In addition, we will gather data about the added value of advertising that addresses women’s concerns in
this area by examining published accounts and interpreting data from previous marketing campaigns,
particularly those targeted towards similar age groups.

B. What previous campaigns have we utilized that demonstrate our company’s credibility?
