I would be grateful if I could continue my studies in tertiary education.
In my opinion, university undergraduates should not only pursue academic excellence but also show great concern for their society. A university education should allow students to explore their potential and talents. Moreover, it should also help them develop a positive philosophy of life and think in a logical and systematic way. Life on campus should be comfortable and multifaceted.
Firstly and most importantly, I look forward to challenging myself.
I expect my future career to fit my interests and provide a sense of accomplishment. Furthermore, I hope my profession can be meaningful and respectable and serve the needs of the community.
As for my strengths, I have an independent and analytical mind. I can think logically and critically. Additionally, I am helpful and considerate to others. During my secondary school years, I participated in various extracurricular activities, such as the Computer Club, Chess Club, Club, and English Club.
They provided me with excellent opportunities to gain knowledge that cannot be learned from general lessons in school. For service terms, I was one of the committee members of the Student Librarians and School IT Team. Being a committee member provided me with training in leadership and organizational skills. However, I still need more life experiences to solve the problems I will encounter in the future.
Finally, if given the chance to study at the university, I will do my best to learn. After graduation, I will contribute to the community by applying what I have learned at the university to whatever job I might find.
Consequently, I hope the university can provide me with an opportunity to study and serve society in the future.
