Q1. Please read the below paragraph and write your opinion. Do you agree with it. Provide any example.

A hypothesis is a testable and precise statement put forth as a prediction of the outcome of a study. They usually involve a parameter, a theory or a relationship between two or more variables. It is common to write a hypothesis in two forms- the null hypothesis states and the alternative hypothesis. Both these forms are in contradiction to one another with the null hypothesis typically stating that a theory is false, a parameter value lies beyond or within a threshold or that there is not relationship between two variables. A hypothesis can never be proven to be correct, and the results of a study are always states as a hypothesis being supported or rejected (McLeod, 2018).
Q2. Please read the below paragraph and write your opinion. Do you agree with it. Provide any example.

It is important to expand the hypothesis testing procedure to two populations as it give the researchers a second opinion. This involves working with and comparing two means. Studies and research compare two groups. The populations in the process of hypothesis testing can either be independent or dependent. Independent means the populations are not related in any way to each other while dependent populations are matched pairs.
Example:
The average amount of time boys and girls spend playing sports each day is believed to be the same. In this case the two populations are girls and boys.
