At work, I was assigned to help put together a large event where several legislators were in invited, which meant that everything had to be perfect. Most of the members understood the importance of the event and would go above and beyond what was needed in order to ensure that everything went as planned. These members helped to make planning much easier and were there to help any time they were needed; however there were two members that always had a reason to not show up for meetings and did not help set-up for the event. Because of this the other members did not trust the opinion of those two and did not include them in any of the celebrations that took place after the event was over. Next time, I will assign individual tasks and stress the importance of everyone working together in order to make the event seamless.
