SUBJECT: Transportation Security Administration Organizational Business Model
This message is intended to connect to the process of developing the business model for TSA. It was possible to discover diverse activities the agency performs to ensure safety of all passengers. Working under supervision of Homeland Security produces better quality when dealing with the agency’s operations since it is possible to create accurate security constraints depending on the department’s vast research on criminal tactics.
It was possible to determine how airport passengers connected to all internal security measures by adhering to directions provided by TSA officers. Training officers is another crucial process performed to enhance quality when dealing with flight operations since there is a connection with current technological methods of promoting passengers’ safety.
TSA is clearly an imperative organization whose activities shall never get eliminated when dealing airport security and prevention of improper items getting smuggled into countries.
Thank you for your attention.

Business Model Canvas Part 2: Pattern, Design, and Strategy
In every business model, there are always different designs, patterns and even strategies that can be seen in this case. These are always observable and the importance of looking at this in line with the specific issues that are being faced by this specific organization is very important. Looking therefore at this specific canvas, there are different patterns, designs and an overall business strategies that have been depicted.
To begin with, the pattern that the canvas has specifically used in the process of describing the business model in this case was very straight forward. The model had a very established and identified pattern when it comes to the process of discussing the overall business model. The first thing that the canvas has are the key partners that are needed in the model, these include the management teams, the employees, the field team leader, and transportation security officers who do specifically play a very important role in the process of ensuring that the model functions in the best way possible. The key activities are also other things that the canvas looked at in this case, the key activities in this case include the management of the airport security screening sessions, improvement of security operations and ensuring quality reporting of all security issues (Morgan, 1980). Key resources, offers, customer relationships, channels and customer segments are some of the things that have been covered in the canvas that are important. It is important to note that these should be done in the identified pattern and this will help in the process of ensuring that the revenue generated is specifically achieved to the fullest.
When it comes to the design that has been discussed in this case by the canvas, the organization in this case specifically uses the four-frame model. Looking at this specifically means that the organization focuses on different things as it aims in the process of trying to achieve its stipulated goals. In this design therefore, there are lenses which are used in the process of filtering some
things and allow others to pass through and this will help in the process of ordering the experiences that the organization has. In the design also, tools are important to have and this help in the process of identifying the limitations and the strengths that the organization has and this will help in making different jobs being carried out to be easier (Probst, 2011). Having tools in most cases is not enough, knowing how to use these tools is the thing that is needed to ensure that the tool produced the best outcomes out of the same. Structural frame in the model is an element of the design that is important too, this does emphasizes of specialized roles, goals and formal relationships. This structure will specifically help in the process of ensuring that as an organization, the best structure design is applied that will suit the goals that it has that are in line with the needs of the organization. Other frames that are important in this design include the political resource frame, human resource, and symbolic frame.
Conclusion
Looking at the overall business strategy that has been depicted in the canvas, one can say and see that generally the business strategy was effective in every way. The designs and the patterns that the canvas has discussed can be specifically be said to be effective in a way that they help in the process of ensuring that the general business strategy is achieved in the best way possible and most importantly that the best revenues are generated from the same. Therefore from the canvas, one can therefore depict and make a conclusion that the general business strategy that has been used is very effective and does help in bringing about the best outcomes from the same.

Assignment: Business Model Assessment Final Project
Instructions
Goal: Conduct/construct an experiential evaluation/assessment of the business model of your organization (or one with which you are closely familiar) using the business model canvas and related text.
Introduction: Managers who want to improve the effectiveness of their business model and organization, as well as to increase their own ability to manage, use diagnostics/assessments to determine the reality of business effectiveness in comparison to what they originally envisioned. Good feedback contributes to the development of plans to improve business/organizational effectiveness and management performance.
Instructions: Students will write a 2500-3000 word (about 10 pages in the main body) properly formatted APA paper (including a title page and references page, but no abstract) that evaluates/assesses the overall effectiveness of the business model used by your organization. This is the third of three assignments that draws from your association with your organization. The previous two “canvas” assignments flow into this one. Identify one or more of the building blocks from the business model canvas where modification should be recommended. Be careful to avoid bias in determining the issue/problem identified by using the canvas. Do not merely critique, but contribute to your organization’s overall success. This paper should be the culmination of the overall work you have done with the business model canvas so that all the pieces go together.
Your final paper should include:
· Your business model canvas – Post-It notes discussion/observations (week 2)—summarize this area, but provide the initial canvas.
· Identification of theoretical/behavioral trends that you observe in the business model and organization (week 5)—summarize this, do not merely cut and paste.
· Discussion of appropriate theory, metaphors, and frames with which to describe your business model in operation, as well as to identify areas needing improvement and how to get there.
· Use of the Osterwalder/Pigneur text to evaluate and diagnose your organization’s business model, as well as an integration of the course materials into your writing and consideration.
· Recommendations for improvements identified using the canvas, theories, and assessment tools used in this course. What are the expected outcomes.
· Use eight scholarly sources besides our textbook (especially case studies) to undergird your assertions from peer-reviewed literature.
· Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the assignment specs and ask questions if you are unsure of expectations.
The paper must have at least eight additional scholarly sources in addition to the course textbook. No abstract is necessary, but a title page and references page should be included. Write your paper in third person, even though you are writing about an organization that you are familiar with. To do this, write from the perspective of a scholar who observes and researches about the case. Therefore, first person should be avoided.
