Topic :
To what extent and why architects earnings have been declining since the 1960s in the EU and USA.
Thesis:
Architects deserve to be among the best paid people in the world. This lucrative career needs a solution that could help boost earnings.
Architects such as Mies van der Rohe at IIT and Walter Gropius at Harvard who had come from the EU in the 60s revolutionized the industry in the USA drastically.
They pushed a particular teaching style in the ’60s and ’70 which lead to an increase in the supply of architects. The same teaching style has made it difficult for the graduates to establish their practice and make most of their expensive education.
Sub-topics:
Why were the years 1960-1980 so crucial and revolutionary for the field of architecture ?
For what reasons have architects earnings been declining in the EU and the USA?
You can add more subtopics. The above were helpful to provide direction for the long research paper.

This is a chapter in a book. It simply answers a question. What is the best possible reason for the changes in the architectural activities between 1960 and 1980 in USA. It answers how architectural practice and employment were changing around 1970 and 1980. It agrees with my thesis by addressing the possible reasons for drastic changes in the industry during the decades between 1960 and 1980.

This is an article by Harvard magazine. It addresses issues in the field of architecture. It addresses how Architecture’s value has been declining in the marketplace. It talks about how after the Second World War German architects Walter Gropius and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe came from Europe affected architecture in America. This could be one of my most useful sources. It answers what effect did these two EU architects had in USA. It agrees with my thesis by talking about the changes in the work practice and their rationalized design influence.

AIA is one of the most well known institutes among American architects. This report helps provide statistics to back my claim that earnings for architects have had a continuous decline in America.
Provide evidence to judtify that there has been decline in earnings since 1960.

This research article has an in depth research about the architectural design process in architecture design studios. Moreover, it suggests appropriate teaching and learning strategies for the future architects and architecture schools. This research article helps us deeply understand design studios. I would make suggestions towards the second half to resolve the issue I wish to address in this paper. I believe the architectural field needs a solution, and these solutions start from the architects themselves. This would be just before my conclusion.
