Term Paper
Movie: Law abiding citizen
Critically analyze the film by applying at least
10 ethical systems
and/or concepts learned in class. The film should be criminal justice-related. It could either be on the police, courts, or corrections. Your task will be to identify the concepts, explain them in your own words and then apply them to the various scenarios in the film. Make sure to evaluate and value the different ideas, perspectives, cultures and viewpoints presented in the film. The assignment should be 3-4 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman, and should include the following:
1. Identify, define and then apply at least 10 ethical systems and /concepts that you learned in this course.
2. The concepts/terms must be in bold.
E.g. Ethics of care
3. You can only describe the scene to which the concept applies, but not the plot of the whole film.
While your paper must have a scholarly tone (e.g. using appropriate grammar and a college-level vocabulary, not using contractions or the first-person), it should consist mainly of your own original ideas and thoughts.
