Great post! I agree, “Prison gangs are responsible for a significant percentage of misconduct and prison violence,” but do you think the guards have anything to do with it? How are they getting away with the violence, amongst other things they’re involved with, without being thrown in solitary confinement? That’s what convinces me the guards or someone higher up is corrupt.
