ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Create a fictitious memorandum to your supervisor proposing a new 10-step strategic planning cycle to improve your agency (Health & Human Services

This will include articulating a revised or a new mission statement, conducting an environmental scan (stakeholders and SWOT/C analysis), and proposing potential action steps to address strategic questions. This will include at least one cost chart and explain how you would plan to measure performance. For the paper, it shall: – Provide a critical analysis of your agency′s current mission statement. Propose any necessary revisions. The paper should also outline a vision that should be articulated with a goal to promise the outward expression of what the agency stands for. -Conduct a SWOT/C analysis that identifies one Strength, one Weakness, one Opportunity, and one Threat/Challenge that should be examined and proffered for the strategic agenda. – For each identified SWOT/C component, you must articulate the strategic issue as a question. – By using two components of the SWOT/C analysis (i.e., one strength and one weakness, or one strength and one challenge, etc) develop three (3) major proposals for implementation to answer the respective SWOT/C component′s issues. The action items must be defined and scheduled for implementation on realistic terms. – Describe the methods that will be used to implement or operationalize the issues of the plan; including resource management, budgeting, and accountability measures. This should include at least one charted cost breakdown (budget spreadsheet). These charted cost breakdowns will not count for more than (2) pages of your total length requirement. – Finally, the proposal should outline each of the action items and desired outcome will be assessed. This should include identifying performance measurements (this can be done in bullet form).
