Patients with various neurological disorders with the emphasis of patients with strokes and aneurysms, vascular malformations, post Angio -therapy, post tpa (tissue plasminogen activator) treatment, Spinal Cord injuries & traumatic head injuries.
· Assisted treating physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures (Arterial-lines, Central Venous Catheter, Pulmonary artery catheter, External ventricular drains, Chest-tubes, Bronchoscopy, intubation, tracheostomy, Venous ECMO Cannula, Prone positioning for ARDS) including life-saving situations.
· Titrated life saving drips. Administered infusion therapy, including: IV fluids, antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals and electrolytes Able to effectively take care of up to six patients.
· Developed clinical autonomy at the point of patient care.
· Hemodynamic monitoring; vital signs, MAP, CVP, CO, CI, SVR CPP, ICP, labs.
· Collaborated with professionals across the organization to formulate an integrated care plan.
· Provided education, information and emotional support to the patient’s family and caregivers.
