Task

For your final report, you should have a good mix of reliable sources (primary and secondary—a minimum of four) upon which to base your problem description and upon which to recommend solutions.

Instructions

For the A4, in an email format to me:

1. Identify the ‘problem’ (e.g., topic) that you will be researching as result of your insights from the Final Report Proposal, A2.

2. Find 4 sources relevant to this problem/topic:

a. Primary source: Interviewee (Subject Matter Expert) or analysis of original company documents (if permitted).

b. One published research journal article published in Canada or about Canadian businesses or Canadian issues. Use the Canadian business database.

c. One newspaper or magazine article on the issue published in Canada.

d. Either a blog post by an industry expert, or a documentary by an industry expert (Business Films at KPU; go to the business subject guide to find links) or a vlog post (Youtube or Vimeo) by an industry expert on your issue. No commercial material will be acceptable, only public service blogs or videos.

Using APA style references, write a description of each of the sources:

· Summarize/describe in a few sentences what the source is about.

· Assess the relevance of this source.

· Reflect on how this source will fit into your research and support your arguments.
