Profit will be contributed for the growth and development of the industry, which will improve the rate of job opportunities in (Perth Patterson et al., 2017).
- Developments in the hospitality industry can job roles such as Front-of-House Managers, Guest Relations Manager, Service Associate and reservation agent. It can also develop the job opportunity for Event Planners and executive chefs. The accommodator sector of Australia is changing by transforming as well as implementing technology in the local brands of hotels(Divisekera & Nguyen, 2018). The concept of localism is emphasised more by the transforming trends of the industry. Cities like Perth, Melbourne and Canberra are experiencing the largest expansion of hotel sector thereby increasing the job vacancies (Li et al., 2015).

Job Opportunities in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry in Perth
Being a business students I always wanted a job role were I could learn and operate through both hospitality techniques as well as business management skills. This job can be ideal for me as it includes both supervising and administrative role, which can expose me with various tasks thereby adding values to my skill set. The company is in a growing stage, which will allow me to learn numerous strategies, and with the brand’s growth I can grow in terms of the position in the company. Another minor benefit can be the availability of the options of both part-time and full-time job, which can present the flexibility for higher education at later stage of my career.
The available skills and experience, which I possess, are the skills of customer service and strong communication skills as well as skills in personal presentation because of my experience in KFC as a supervisor. Time management skills and problem solving skills through my experiences in Mercy Health Aged Care and Flex Health International where I worked by helping the patients with various conventional and unconventional tasks in the process of their treatment. The experience in the health care centres helped me by developing organization skills, which I was lacking in the past.
I need to develop media and communication skills by learning more about technological advancements and social media marketing. I can enrol in a subject of Integrated Marketing Communication, which will develop my knowledge and can provide me with challenges of developing social media campaigns and website content making.
I will try to participate in the media campaign teams in regards with various events promotion in college. A work experience as a blogger can also be proved useful for the preparation of the job criteria. I can also work in a content marketing team as one month internship programme, which can help with, enhance my time management and social media/technological competencies.
