potential mechanisms and nutritional interventions. Nutrients, 7(8), 6719–6738.

The three authors of this article are associated with the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medical

Sciences, UNSW Australia. Notes for the article are numerous (126) and substantive, most coming from

journals in medical and nutritional fields, thus enhancing the authors’ credibility. The authors explore

the relationship between intake of high energy (high fat and high sugar) foods and cognitive functions,

primarily short and long term memory. They focus on inflammation and neutrotrophic factors as

impacts from this kind of diet. Interventions are suggested, including the use of omega-3 and curcumin,

to counter cognitive decline related to food intake. This source will be helpful in identifying cognitive

impacts of consuming sugar, as well as options for helping reduce the impairment of memory.

Martin R. Yeomans is associated with the School of Psychology, University of Sussex, in Brighton, UK.

Notes for the article are numerous (125) and substantive, most coming from journals in medical and

nutritional fields, thus enhancing the author’s credibility. Yeomans explores the idea that

overconsumption of diets high in fat and sugar may explain the correlation between obesity and

declines in cognitive functions. This work focuses on the impacts to the hippocampus and impaired

appetite control, seen in a Vicious Cycle Model, in which appetite control is impaired by the high fat and

sugar diets, resulting in increased consumption of poor quality food. Although Yeomans finds

verification of the cycle in research involving both humans and animals, he maintains that further

research is needed. This source will be helpful in demonstrating how interrelated diet and cognitive

functions are and how important it is to limit sugar intake for improved cognitive functions.

This week, you will submit an annotated bibliography for two (2) of your sources for the final project paper. Both
should be scholarly and from the APUS Library. Go ahead and read the instructions for upcoming assignment
will have a good idea of sources you might need.

Each source (listed in alphabetical order) should have a complete Works Cited or References entry for the cita

Research Guide I am Using in Business Administration

1. I found several journals I would use in this program; examples of the journals include the research journal of management, the international journal of management science and business administration, and the prime journal of business administration and management.

2. I would find articles about the accounting cycle, principles of marketing, human resources, communication, customer service, and math application.

3. Some of the books I would find in this program include Modern Business Administration, The Lean Startup, Blue Ocean Strategy, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Other books include customer service, strategy execution, and financial management.

4. Websites I would use for this program include business administration sites, small business talks, and the US government business administration program.

5. Organizations I found used mainly by the people in this program include the Academy of Management, the American management association, small business administration, and the national association of black accountants.

6. This program’s social media sites include Entrepreneur magazine, Harvard business review, and fast company magazine on Twitter.

The organization provides small businesses with grants and loans to run their activities, and it is one of the most popular organizations in business administration in the country.

The review of the organization shows that the company:

· The website discusses business administration and management topics.

· It intends to provide services for small business owners.

· The language used is formal, professional, and clear; there is no jargon and conversational words on the site.

· The site provides a toll-free hotline, email address, main office address, email, and business administration forms.

· The website uses images sparingly, and they are attractive to the user.

· The site provides a feedback option on whether the information provided was helpful.

· The email sign-up to receive email updates distinguishes insiders from visitors.

· The website is user-friendly and unique because of the Government Information Services guide.

· The site is an independent government agency
