I chose to do virtual shopping where the software will allow you to try on clothes by creating a prototype body to see how the user will look in it. the software is called Shopposite because it is the opposite of actual shopping. be sure to reference everything where information was taken and you might have to use Visio to create the UML charts.

Brief Description:
The name of the software I am proposing is Shopposite. I propose that my software will create a more realistic and better virtual shopping experience for the user. This software will be for the person who is too tired, too busy, or just not capable to get to a store. Not only is it for those users but this will create a better shopping experience for those the buyer and the seller. (task) I propose that this software will create a virtual shopping experience that allows you to create a prototype body that matches your weight and height, so that when consumers are shopping online they can try on clothing to see how they will look in it before purchasing the item. Different companies will want to purchase my software because it will save them money by cutting the cost of returns and having to reimburse money and the customers will save money as well by having an accurate demo of the item before purchasing it.
Tasks:
· Choose prototype body(based on hgt. & wgt.)
· The User can change their skin tone and body structure to best fit them
· Go shopping & pick out clothes
· A virtual dressing room will appear
· Click on the outfit that the user wants to try on
· A 360* view of the prototype will appear to show the entire look
· User will determine if the outfit is a yes or no by clicking one
· If yes, the outfit will then be moved to the shopping cart

Again, this software will create a virtual shopping experience that allows buyers to create a prototype body that matches their weight and height, so that when shopping online they can try on clothing to see how they will look in it before purchasing the item. According to my research there are other software like the one I am proposing such as Zeekit and See My Fit Tool these allow you to upload a picture of yourself to see how you look in it. The article on Fashion United, ‘Asos uses the latest AR technology to find consumers perfect fit. Tim Carey, senior content manager at Asos Studios, said in a statement: “With this trial of See My Fit, we’re using the latest in AR technology to put the power in our customers’ hands, so they can choose to view a dress on the model that they most identify with, in a way that wouldn’t be possible using traditional model-shooting techniques.”(Stone, 2020) The reviews I’ve found on these competitors are that they didn’t give an accurate description of the item the customer wanted to buy leading to a financial loss from both the buyer and seller. I propose Shopposite, my software will provide a more accurate demonstration leading to an overall better shopping experience.
