Based on your understanding of the models of the change process in your Organizational Change: An Action-Oriented Toolkit text and figure 3.1 in Mastering the Challenges of Leading Change (linked in Resources), a matrix outlining four types of change (Incremental, Conversional, Transitional, and Transformational), respond to the following:

  • Select one process model that you believe best facilitates each type of change as defined in Figure 3.1. For example, for incremental change you might argue that Lewin’s model is best. Provide a rationale for each model chosen for the four types of change. The overall objective is to reduce the probability of “getting lost” as indicated in the matrix.
