Conflict Styles Assessment and Reflection Assignment Instructions
Overview
Throughout this course you have studied different conflict resolution styles and strategies. For this assignment, you will complete an online assessment from the United States Institute of Peace. There are 30 questions that will assist you in determining your conflict style.
Please note that this assessment is designed to spark your interest in determining a preferential conflict resolution style. You should always review the results of assessments like these in light of the Bible, your experiences, and additional research. Just because the results from this assessment might reveal a preference towards one or more conflict resolution style, this does not mean that this is absolute truth. You should reflect on the results of this assessment and then, taking all things into consideration, decide how to proceed with the results.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the Interact: Conflict Styles Assessment in the Learn section.
2, Select “Start Survey”.
3. Complete the 30 question assessment by selecting one phrase out of the two phrases that best describe how you deal with conflict.
4. Using the results page, complete the Conflict Styles Assessment and Reflection Template Part One and Part Two. Do not navigate away from the Results page or you will lose all your results!
5. After completing Part One and Part Two with your results, complete the rest of the Conflict Styles Assessment and Reflection Template utilizing your textbook, at least five scholarly journal articles published within the last five years, and the Bible to support your answers.
You must cite your textbook and one unique scholarly journal article published within the last five years within each paragraph of Part Three: Reflection of the template. This means at a minimum, you should have 7 sources including the Bible in your Reference section of the paper.
You are not permitted to use direct quotes on this assignment unless quoting from the Bible.
