- Book Review: Choose one of the books from the list provided in the syllabus and write a book review.The book review should clearly explain the basic thesis and content of the book and provide critical comments about the book’s value in studying the history of world civilizations.Explain clearly what the author is trying to argue, demonstrate, or suggest through the study presented in the book.Explain what kind of new historical facts that the author claims to present, what sources the author uses for the study, and how the content is organized.Explain how the book contributes to the study of worlds political, social, cultural, or environmental history.
Paper Format and Late Paper Policy:The paper is to be double-spaced with the text written in the font size 12 and needs to include a cover page.If it is a book review, the cover page must provide complete information about the book, including the author’s full name, the book’s full title, the publisher’s name and the year of the publication.When any part of the book is quoted or paraphrased, the page number must be indicated in parenthesis at the end of the sentence.
