Scenario
You are the director of HR information systems and analytics of a publicly-traded organization. Your current HR information systems (HRIS) are outdated and can no longer be supported by the vendors. Therefore, it is necessary to invest in the implementation of a new system or systems. Before you can begin the request for proposal process from vendors, you have been tasked by the VP of HR to research and identify a short-list of appropriate technologies that would support the types of transactional, traditional, and transformational HR activities currently in place in the organization.
Instructions
In order to prepare the requested short-list for the VP of HR, research one specific technology application and prepare an executive summary advising organizational leadership how this technology could be leveraged to improve effectiveness in traditional and transformational HR activities. The executive summary should include:
· An overview of the vendor company (e.g. reputation, major clients, time in business, etc.)
· Which HR traditional activities must be built into the functionality of the application
· Which transformational HR activities must be built into the functionality of the application
· How the technology application can provide data and reporting on the activities you have specified and to whom (e.g. internal customers) this data can be accessible

Linda, having a full understanding of the assignment instructions is necessary to answer the rubric items. Re-read the instructions thoroughly, find a valid vendor to discuss and also answer the questions as they pertain to the scenario. You only give high level research that doesn’t pertain to the assignment. Also, make sure to use sectional headings for each rubric item for ease of reader understanding and grading.
You need to find a valid HRIS platform to use and discuss this in detail giving an understanding of the company’s reputation, clients and years in business, etc. This was not done. Read the assignment instructions. Hubspot is not a full HRIS application, but more of a recruiting function. A full HRIS application is necessary here. Do research on this and discuss thoroughly.
You have not identified excellent traditional activities that need to be incorporated into the functionality of the application for your company. You only give vague information that has been found
It is important to ensure that the new functions for the transformation are available to build into the application as well. This was not discussed either.
There are many modules to an application which provide necessary information in one place. Knowing that this is important to gather pertinent information easily. This was not discussed either.
