Question 3: Where is (are) the community(-ies) located?
The communities are located in America, in homes, in retirement
Question 4: What are the problem(s) presented in the article that require our consideration?
The problems that presented in this articles what we need to think about is how the wealthy tend to have way more money then necessary and when you look at the data you can see that money isn’t distributed evenly. You can also see that white people tend to earn more than other minorities, in which we need to consider why that is and how we can change that.
Question 5: How can we fix the problem(s)? What are the issues that might emerge from attempting to solve the problem(s)
The one way I can think that we can fix the problem of the inequality of wealth is to have the wealthy earn less and/or distributed the money in accordance to what they make to taxes and our communities. The inequality also is based off race so this could be based off poverty or whether or not minorities are given the same opportunities as white people do. Black people were seen to have more school loans so aid should be provides and liquidation for retirement for minorities should be just as much as whites.
Second article:
Question 1: What is (are) the key issue(s)?
Racism, inequality of appraisal, houses in black areas are valued for less.
Question 2: Who is (are) the community(-ies) involved?
The black community, minorities, homeowners and housing market
Question 3: Where is (are) the community(-ies) located?
Northern California though it can happen anywhere across the states.
Question 4: What are the problem(s) presented in the article that require our consideration?
The problem being presented in this article is that many black people who want to buy or sell homes can end up being scammed or treated unfairly based off their race. People have to end up hiding their races from the government in order to avoid unfair treatment. Homeowners in black areas also deal with a house market that does not benefit them or have less revenue.
Question 5: How can we fix the problem(s)? What are the issues that might emerge from attempting to solve the problem(s)
We can fix these problems by first addressing that people who work in government and home appraisers can be subjected to commit racial profiling and should be educated on the matter. The house market in black communities should also not be under minded based off that. Instead the government should help these communities grow through services and fundraisers to help the profits go up.

The communities being studied in this article are all based in the United States of America.
· Question 4: What are the problem(s) presented in the article that require our consideration?
In my opinion income inequality in general and racial wealth gap are two problems that definitely require our consideration. I say this because America has had a history of racial inequality, and this only proves to show that there are still sectors where maybe equality has not been achieved.
· Question 5: How can we fix the problem(s)? What are the issues that might emerge from attempting to solve the problem(s)
Some ways to fix these problems are:
1. More awareness and education about investment methods and retirement saving vehicles for all communities.
2. Increasing the minimum wage will majorly help with closing the gap in income.
3. Making sure employees are enrolled in some sort of retirement saving plan when hired by companies.
Some problems that may arise when attempting to solve these issues are that there could be a lack of participation by multiple communities as lack of knowledge. Moreover, lower income groups might withdraw money earlier for financial emergencies.

Racial discrimination witnessed in North Carolina by a couple trying to sell their house. Their house was valued for far less, whereas when their white friend posed to be the owner of the house the valuation went up by half a million dollars. Additionally, ‘redlining’ is also seen in this article.

The problems that need consideration are ‘redlining’ and how homes in black communities are majorly undervalued. Moreover, this happens irrelevant if the income is similar to that of the white communities.
· Question 5: How can we fix the problem(s)? What are the issues that might emerge from attempting to solve the problem(s)
One major step that can be taken is government intervention wherein laws are made for issues of this sort. In other words, laws that account for equality in valuation of homes irrelevant of race should be put in place. Not only that, education and awareness of such issues can be brought to light for more people to know what is happening around the country.
