My question for the class would be what is main difference between an annotated bibliography and an abstract?
Personally, I believe that annotated bibliographies are helpful when completing research papers. By creating an annotated bibliography within the first couple weeks doesn’t allow me to procrastinate. Secondly, it allows me to get a good number of resources that I plan to use when writing my paper.
When creating an annotated bibliography, I believe that a helpful tip would be to check out the “Purdue Writing Lab”. This web page gives guidelines to learn how to format properly and can used as a guide when formatting and writing an entire paper. Additionally, the web page will guide you to citing your source properly and in the right order ensuing that the content is properly formatted as well.
Another tip is to ensure that sources are from peer reviewed articles. This makes the writing process more collaborative through peer review gives students opportunities to learn from one another and to think carefully about the role of writing in the course at hand.
