I decided to complete my Compensation Portfolio on Ross Stores Inc.. As a former Store Manager of Ross, I wanted to take a deeper look into the compensation and performance pay structure from the other side. My goal is to one day work in Human Resource in the Retail industry. Retail management was my career for about 15+ years and I’ve always wondered how compensation was determined. Recently, Ross has changed their compensation packages and I would like to research what was the reason for the change after so many years and how it affected their low-cost strategy.
